About

Vibrant and exploding with a passion for music,  Barbara has resided in Europe for a number of years after relocating to begin a modeling career. After a lucrative period dedicated to fashion she decided to return to her first love which is music.

She speaks Spanish and French but with Italy as a formal home base she learned fluent Italian which made it easy to collaborate with some of the most successful Italian dance/club music producers. Her personal music taste is a mix of many styles and it will only be a matter of a creative compilation of tracks before her name begins to stir attention in the music arena.

Italy embraced her as she participated in numerous and diverse music projects.  However, real recognition arrived at her door when she began touring with famous Italian artists and collaborating with American artists during their European tours as a backup vocalist. She participated in the San Remo Italian Song Festival three times and has collaborated with various Italian artists like Paolo Conte, Elisa, Zucchero, Andrea Mingardi and Articolo 31 to name a few, then along with international artists like Mariah Carey and the original Blues Brothers on their European dates.

In Italy she appeared either as a singer, presenter or actress on Italian television programs like Scherzi a Parte, Tappetto Volante, Zecchino d’oro, Re per una notte, Estatissima Sprint and Come Thelma & Louise. She collaborated with Carlo Verdone for his theatrical tour called "Carlo Verdone Racconta Carlo Verdone" and has had the pleasure to sing at diverse Italian celebrity events for the likes of Pavarotti, Santo Versace, Laura Biagiotti, Virna Lisi, Christiano de Sica and Nino Manfredi.

Her distinct voice was chosen to perform the jingles for the Fiat Stilo and Citroen commercials and is now challenging herself to learn to play piano and guitar. She has written fifteen songs that have yet to be heard by anyone. She did a cover of Barry White's Love Unlimited 70's hit "I'm So Glad That I'm A Woman", promoted it on Italian TV and performed it in front of 5,000 people at diverse summer fests.

Back in the U.S. she has had the pleasure to meet Quincy Jones, Patti Labelle, Sheila E., Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Ciara, Rick Ross, Dr. Julius Irving, Trina, Malcolm Jamal-Warner, Tommy Lee, Venus Williams, Charley Murphy, Flo-rida, and Timbaland to name some.
